Who we are
Mark LaFon, owner
Mark holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Kansas and a B.F.A in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. Combining his knowledge of natural sciences with his interest in architectural form, he founded American Pools over thirty years ago.
Since that time, he has become one of the most trusted names in the Colorado pool business, recommended by customers and pool professionals alike.
Mark’s attention to detail and dedication to precision and quality is what sets his work apart from the rest! Outside of work, Mark enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, and spending time with his family.
Leign LaFon, customer service
As Mark’s wife and right-hand business associate, Leigh has been answering customer’s questions about pools for nearly as long as American Pools has been operating.
Leigh enjoys reading, painting, and watching wildlife. She also enjoys helping customers pick the right pool service for their needs – there’s a world of possibility!
Josh Anderson, crew foreman
Josh has a degree in Construction Management from Purdue University. Besides ensuring customer satisfaction and efficent time usage on-site, he loves to play guitar, create sculptures, and compete in demolition derbies.
Josh even lets American Pools sponsor him in derby events at the Colorado State Fair!
